Carol Treska is a Partner in her firm’s Accounting and Tax Group, which serves exclusively closely held, entrepreneurial, and family-owned businesses. With over two decades of experience, she brings deep technical expertise and strategic insight to business owners navigating the complexities of financial operations, tax compliance, and long-term planning.
Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Carol spent more than 11 years building her career as a senior tax accountant at one of the nation’s largest CPA firms and as Director of Family Office Administration and Business Entities at a prominent wealth management firm. Her work has spanned a range of industries—including service, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, and direct marketing—where she provides highly personalized consulting and tax guidance to partnerships, S corporations, and their owners. Carol is a Certified Public Accountant and an active member of both the Ohio Society of CPAs (OSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting with honors from Miami University and holds a Master of Business Administration from John Carroll University. Deeply committed to the Cleveland community where she has lived most of her life, Carol is passionate about supporting efforts to combat hunger and homelessness. She regularly volunteers with the St. Augustine Hunger Center and is a dedicated advocate for youth education through her involvement with Junior Achievement. Carol also serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer of Zygote Press, a nationally recognized nonprofit printmaking studio and gallery. In this role, she helps advance Zygote’s mission to expand their organization, support artists, expand community access to the arts, and foster creative collaboration in Cleveland’s vibrant cultural landscape.
